APS CUWiP at GW: Conference Program

Preliminary Conference Program

The content below is preliminary and may change, depending on speaker / panelist availability and logistics. We aim to have each set of workshops run twice, in order that it is possible to attend two of the choices for each set. Friday evening activities are in the Hyatt Centric Arlington, where the hotel accommodation for the conference is located. Other than breakfast, Saturday and Sunday activities will be located in the Science and Engineering Hall (SEH), including Saturday evening's buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres. Transportation between the conference hotel and the SEH will be via traveling one stop on the blue, orange or silver metro lines between Rosslyn station (directly opposite the hotel) and Foggy Bottom Station (one block from the SEH). There will be guides available at both ends to assist with the process, and metro cards will be supplied at registration with sufficient credit for two return trips. DC Metrorail is accessible via elevator at both stops.
